Work branding

University Heights Learning Hub view site

As a trustee of Project U.S.E.'s board, we helped organize a branding campaign and fundraising event for its newest institution, The University Heights Learning Hub (a.k.a The Hub), in Newark, NJ. Newark's Mayor, Cory A. Booker was a keynote speaker at the event which raised over ten thousand for The Hub's growth.

A sister logo was created for The Hub, with a more modern font suited for the post-industrial building and urban setting. A save-the-date postcard and tri-fold invitation announcing the grand opening and introducing people to the overall organization were printed by a local printer, Sir Speedy, and mailed out. Project U.S.E.'s website was updated with a section devoted to The Hub with Google merchant-based ticket purchasing. Display boards featuring The Hub's education programs, the event's sponsors and testimonials from community leaders were created for the walls so that guests mingling could learn about Project U.S.E. and The Hub throughout the building. Each table had a centerpiece of flowers with facts about experiential education, Project U.S.E's three decades of service, and Newark's environmental resources.
